Design Process, en français

Just a few months ago, I wrote an article which walked through my design process for a CSS Zen Garden entry, titled “A Design Process Revealed“.

If you happen to speak or understand French better than English, I’ll point you to a new translation of this article at Pompage.net: Les coulisses d’un design. Thanks to Stéphane Deschamps who did the translation after asking permission. Unfortunately, I speak very little French (pero hablo español mucho más). But since I wrote the original version, I can at least follow along every ten words or so.

Translation looks fine (good job, Stéphane). Hopefully your “Design Process Revealed” tale will pervade French designers minds :)

    Thanks Michaël :-)

Actually, as I was saying to Doug via email, it already was put to good use by none other than myself on an intranet project.

The methodology involved is really useful.

I don’t read a bit of French, but your article was one of the best I’ve read concerning the design process. Kudos.

CSS is now slowly invading our minds.
It’s good that some French people wake up before they miss the train as we usualy do ;)

CSS & IE is still a mysterious alchemy too me, but Safari definitively rocks !

Quelques mots pour dire que la traduction de votre texte est fidèle dans l’essence et dans la forme. Félicitations pour votre ouverture au monde francophone!

Oh, Doug, BTW, I hadn’t noticed up until this morning.

Stéphane is male in french, and Stéphanie female.

I’m the first gender: Stéphane would be better…

    ;-)
