To keep up with increasingly complex multi-column pages, designers and developers became masters at nesting multiple tables to reproduce any type of layout. You’ve heard it’s possible to eliminate those layout tables by using more CSS, but haven’t made the jump yet. In this session, we’ll review the advantages of going table-less, the pitfalls you can avoid, and we’ll walk through the basic steps you’ll need to get started with CSS-based layout.
